As part of my degree we are all expected to exhibit at the end of the year, I think this is a fantastic opportunity, especailly since we'll be exhibiting at the Free Range Graduates show at the Old Truman Brewery in London
But of course this comes at a price, a price that my college isn't prepared to cover. So, at the moment we are desperately trying to fundraise, currently we are trying to arrange a Valentines card sale, this is great for a number of reasons:
1. It gives us a chance to actually sell our work which is a massive confidence boost.
2. It brings the group together and helps us to establish who the figureheads are.
3. It raises money for our end of year exhibition!
Obviously we have a long way to go before we have to money that we need to organise this event, we have other fundraising ideas in the pipeline, such as a Burlesque night in Derby!

More important than the fundraising, on a personal level is the work that I am going to produce and submit for the exhibtion. I have a really good feeling about the direction that I want me work to take and as soon as all have the specifics have been worked out I will be posting my initial experiments So it's all fun and games for this semester and I'm looking forward to continuing with my personal project aswell.
